Q-Acoustics Loudspeakers

Q Acoustics are a young British company, having only been established in 2006.  Since their inception, however, they have received critical acclaim for the products which they have brought to market, the first being their 1000 series loudspeakers, which won numerous awards throughout the industry.  These were redesigned in 2007 and released as the 1000i series speakers, designed to be a compact, affordable range that worked well with small stereo systems.

2000i Series Loudspeakers

Moving on from the 1000i series, Q Acoustics created the 2000i series.  Their goal was to produce the best affordable speakers ever produced. The 2000i is a versatile range designed to cater for numerous types of listeners.  In the range are the 2010 and 2020 book shelf speakers,  the 2050 floorstanding speakers, 2000c centre and 2070s subwoofer. The look of this range is contemporary, with the sound being punchy and agile, ideal for a balanced starter surround system.  The press agree, with What HiFi awarding ‘Product of the Year’ in the category of ‘Best Surround Package up to £1000’ in its 2009 awards.

As well as traditional surround sound offerings, Q Acoustics have produced two innovative systems designed to improve audio without the need for speakers around your room.

Q-AV 3.1 Loudspeaker System

The Q-AV 3.1 system comprises a wall-mountable subwoofer, and one centre speaker that also has integrated left and right speakers.  This system really is a doddle to set up.

Q-TV Loudspeaker System

Lastly, Q Acoustics have also created a product which is mounted to the rear of your LCD or Plasma television, using the VESA standard mounting system.  This contains adjustable left and right speakers, to improve on the speakers contained within your television.
