Samsung have come a long way in recent years with their TVs. They were the first company to offer super slim designs featuring LED technology, a feature which many manufacturers have now adopted. In April 2010 Samsung released their new super slim range and selected televisions now feature this years ‘must have’ viewing experience – 3D.

Samsung have incorporated their Internet@TV function into selected screens. When connected to your broadband internet connection, you are able to rent films from Lovefilm.com, watch BBC iPlayer, watch ‘youtube’ and update your twitter account all from the comfort of your sofa.

Samsung have made the decision this year to only sell their top of the range models via the best independent specialist stores. There are many televisions in the Samsung 2010 - 2011 range. Below are the three most sought after models from the new range.

C9000 Series
The 9000 Series is the premier range of screens. Utilising all of Samsungs latest features, they are available in 46” and 55” sizes. The sets incorporate Samsungs 3D TV system, an integrated twin Freeview HD tuner, 200Hz scanning for flicker free motion, and all wrapped up in a slim casing which measures less than 1cm in depth. One more unique feature of the C9000 is the premium touch screen remote, which actually allows you to watch what is on the TV screen on the remote itself!

C8000
The C8000 range incorporates many features of the C9000 series. The sets are all 3cm in depth and this is still astonishingly thin compared to other sets on the market. They are available in five different sizes: 65”, 55”, 46”, 40” and 32”. The C8000 models are available in Samsung’s premium silver finish.

C7000
The C7000 models mirror the features in the C8000 models, but are designed in a premium gloss black finish and are available in 55”, 46” and 40”.
