With the advent of HDMI connections, AV receivers have really come into their own. Never before has it been so convenient to have an AV receiver as the hub of your home cinema system, with all your equipment connected to the receiver, there is one cable linking to your screen,with input selection controlled by the receiver.

Denon’s current model range of receivers includes the 1611, 1912, 2312, 3312, 4311 and 4811 receivers.

Denon AVR-1611 Receiver

This is the first model in Denon’s range of AV receivers, however it packs a hefty punch at its price. It is a great amplifier both for music and movies and has the ability to effectively drive a host of speaker systems.

Denon AVR-1912 Receiver 

Fast becoming a favourite in store, the 1912 has HDMI inputs, 7.1 surround sound, on board processing of all high definition sound formats, Audyssey automatic set up and calibration are just some of the features of the 1912. 

Denon AVR-2312 Receiver 

Stepping up to the 2312, this increases the power to all seven channels, with a graphical user interface and on screen display, through HDMI connection. Naturally, this produces all current high definition surround sound formats, including Dolby pro Logic IIz for front height presence.

Denon AVR-3312 Receiver

The Denon 3312 adds to the 2312 with improved connectivity. It also has network audio options. Connect an Ethernet cable between your router and the 3312 to enjoy internet radio, stream your music and photos from any DLNA source or stream music from the Napster music service. Alternatively, just insert any USB memory stick for easy plug and play.

Denon AVR-4311 Receiver

Perhaps you have a room which has a flat panel plasma or LCD TV for normal viewing, and also a projector for when you want to experience the cinema in your home. The Denon AVR-3312 & the AVR-4311 would both suit you well. With dual HDMI outputs, it is just a case of pushing a button to choose your output.
