Denon designed their AV receivers from the ground up for 2009/10. With the advent of HDMI connections, AV receivers have really come into their own. Never before has it been so convenient to have an AV receiver as the hub of your home cinema system, with all your equipment connected to the receiver, there is one cable linking to your screen,with input selection controlled by the receiver.

Denon’s current model range of receivers includes the 1610, 1910, 2310, 3310, 4310 and 4810 receivers.

Denon AVR-1610 Receiver

This is the first model in Denon’s range of AV receivers, however it packs a hefty punch at its price. It is a great amplifier both for music and movies and has the ability to effectively drive a host of speaker systems.

Denon AVR-1910 Receiver

Fast becoming one of the most successful Denon AV receivers produced, the 1910 is a firm favourite with the press, winning product of the year for AV amplifier in the What Hi Fi 2009 awards. Four HDMI inputs,7.1 surround sound, on board processing of all high definition sound formats, Audyssey automatic set up and calibration are just some of the features of the 1910. There is simply no other AV receiver at this price point which provides so much for the money.

Denon AVR-2310 Receiver

Stepping up to the 2310, this increases the power to each speaker to 135 watts to all seven channels, with a graphical user interface and on screen display, through HDMI connection. Naturally, this produces all current high definition surround sound formats, including Dolby pro Logic IIz for front height presence.

The Denon 2310 was the enviable winner of What Hi Fi’s award for best home cinema amplifier (£500-1000) in it’s 2009 awards and is currently one of the most popular amplifiers in the store.

Denon AVR-3310 Receiver

The Denon 3310 adds to the 2310 with improved connectivity, and network audio options. Connect an Ethernet cable between your router and the 3310 to enjoy internet radio, stream your music and photos from any DLNA source or stream music from the Napster music service. Alternatively, just insert any USB memory stick for easy plug and play.

Full 7.2 surround sound with multi room audio capability rounds off the package.

Denon AVR-4310 Receiver

Perhaps you have a room which has a flat panel plasma or LCD TV for normal viewing, and also a projector for when you want to experience the cinema in your home. The Denon AVR-4310 is the AV receiver for you. With dual HDMI outputs, it is just a case of pushing a button to choose your output. Multi room audio and home networking come as standard on the AVR-4310.

The AVR-4310 was recently reviewed by Home Cinema Choice, awarding it a five star review.

Denon AVR-4810 Receiver

The Denon AVR-4810 really does have it all. Full 9.1 surround sound, six HDMI inputs, with two HDMI outputs,

USB direct ipod connection, etc etc. Also, the AVR-4810 incorporates an internal WIFI connection, for a wireless connection to internet radio and access to music subscription services such as Napster.
